does anyone know if there are any companys out there that make a super charger that might be compatable with the uly , if so , what if any engine mods would be required to run it, IE; low compression pistons and rings? lighter valve springs? or a different fuel map? and has anyone heard anything about a new ecm reflash/race ecm for the 08 and new ulys???

No. There is no supercharger kit. There is a guy that made a supercharged XB, but it wasn't a Uly and it wouldn't work on the Uly anyway due to the different frame.

There is no publicly available race ECM for the 08+ models, you need a race license to purchase it.

A guy in spain did a supercharged buell it was a 2003 model because he used the and left side scoop and snorkel to install the air filter, never heard of him again, he did this to be able to compete against rr bikes to not loose them on the straights, but I imagine if you add a super charger, after all the expenses you could have 2 bikes.

You could buy a brand new 1125 for less than the cost of the time and effort to supercharge. Then you still got a full warranty and a better engine too.

Yah you could buy an 1125R bike but you would loose all that is "the Uly" may as well buy a Busa if thats your bag. Super charged Uly would be something special for sure.

What are you losing that is "Uly"? The 1125 is superior to the Uly in every form except for fuel economy, and 53mpg isn't bad for something that will wheelie effortlessly at 100mph.

I have never seen a 1125R go off road or be loaded down for a trip. If you did have a supercharged Uly then you would be the first to do so. Also, you could teach people a lesson that own 1125Rs with an adventure bike.

I rode my CR from NY to Georgia, over 1000 miles each way. It was more comfortable than my Uly. : )

I had a great time, and even customized my right side while off roading, those pods act like shovels and sucked in gravel : D

I hit the BRP on my way home

And I found the sign imitating me on Skyline Drive : )

Next time should be more fun, once I complete my next project.....

I like the 1125GT concept but it doesn't have the ground clearance nor the awesome feel of a Uly.

It will have a little more clearance than a 1125R, but I don't want the clearance of a X. Been there, don't need that. Your right, it doesn't have the feel of the Uly, its got a 40% more awesome power feel! : D

Actually, after seeing the new Multistrada, I might just get that instead.

Froggy, I love that 1125GT concept! Even as a loyal uly rider, I would buy that GT in a minute! That is what Buell should have done instead of the XT. Who needs all that travel and height for a touring bike? Not me! The larger front faring is a must for a true touring cycle as well as a great highway (1125) engine! Love it dude! Hopefully Buell will resurrect and use this concept.

I would stick with my Uly over the Multistrada.

You could go with the tall uly seat, then leave the higher pegs on there. Still get your greater ass to foot ratio, while keeping you lean angles.
