Well after getting a new 09 Uly last month. I made up my mind to trade in my Road Glide for a new 06 VRSCR. (Message edited by rkc00 on June 03, 2009) |

Looks nice, shame the sportiest version didn't last long. How do you like her? |

finally a good pic of a vrscr. That looks awesome. HD could have still pulled 10deg out of the front end though. It would make one hell of a road king conversion. |

Thanks everybody. Just love the bike. Tons of power. Handles good for a 600 + lb bike. Can't see anything out of the mirrors except my elbows. Ordered these today to move the mirrors up and out. http://www.gradysmirrorextenders.com/Pages/product .html I have 650 miles on it so far since Saturday. So far so good. Here are a few more shots of the bike. Mike Long Island, NY 09 XB12X Red/Black 06 VRSCR Blue/Silver |

could you take a pic while in the riding position? How is the passenger seat? 500miles comfortable? |

Gee Mike, two cool bikes in one month. You are a regular one man recession fighter. Doing more in a couple of weeks than the President has done since November. Guess you'll be getting an 1125 CR for March Badess next. Oh, I forgot, there isn't any March Badness anymore.

I will get a shot in the riding position. The passenger seat was not good according to my passenger. The riders seat was not bad for my 360 mile ride home. I was surprised. I will keep the stock seat for a while. This is going to be my daily ride. I have my 09 Uly for any longer trips I might go on. Mike Long Island, NY 09 XB12X Red/Black 06 VRSCR Blue/Silver |

Jon, I might just do that. I have had my eye on the new white 1125R. I will give you a call soon. Maybe we can meet in Montauk on a Sunday Morning. This weekend I will be home. My son has his HS Graduation on Saturday. Will you be riding on Sunday? Let me know. Mike Long Island, NY 09 XB12X Red/Black 06 VRSCR Blue/Silver |

Hey Mike, Those white 1125R's are sweet, but don't overlook the 1125CR. It is geared a bit lower, and is a bit more comfy on the street, especially with the high bars. Of course it only takes a few minutes to make on white, you can leave the headlight black like I did on Ol' Yaller. I will be riding Sunday, starting at the 7/11 at 07:00. Hope to see you soon. PS: Know any one that is up island, but near me that can do a TPS reset competently? |

Great bike and a made in the U.S. engine.Windshield looks functional but not sporty. How much for a new 06. Are there more available.I may go for this, since I AM NOT A ROTAX FAN. |

They're around, usually in the 10-12k range. A few new but many with just a few hundred to a few thousand miles. |

I have an 06 as well, I bought mine practically brand new last November for 9.9. The passenger seat sucks and an upgrage to the Touring Pillion is a must. Riding position is not that far away from my XB9SL. Maybe a little more forward lean, but close. I can and have ridden 200-300 miles at a crack with no problems. The power and balance of these bikes is pretty decent for a 600+ lber. |

I've got an 06 VRSCR that started out identical to yours but had the 07 VRSCR Black and Orange tins installed before the sale an the screen and bags removed but part of the sale. It's a great bike. |

Nice bike Rkc00. I too am thinking about an 06 VRSCR to sit next to my 06 Uly. I have had 3 v-maxes before the uly but as age creeps up I am think more about the VRSCR for an all around fun drag bike for a dude looking at the big 40 this year. |

Nice V-Rod. I love the color. I just found a 2006 VRSCR for sale. It is black cherry and has only 1685 miles. The guy is asking $6900. I saw a VRSCR decked out like Road King it had the FLH hard saddle bags. I plan on meeting with the guy this week. I currently have a 2004 XB12S and a Honda XR650L. I would sell the Honda. Even though I don't want to sell the Honda I like its off road capability. I was looking at a 2003 Road King that had 25K miles on it for $8000. After riding a V-Rod at a demo day that was the only HD that made me smile and grin. It handled great and it accelerated much faster than any other HD. It only problem is convincing my Wife. I did tell her that I might sell one or both of the bikes and buy the V-Rod. She asked me why did I need this when I have the Buell. We shall see! Wish me luck. |
