Thanks for the pics, Ross! Here's the Force XB9x prototype pipe. (I had to throw the V-Rod in too!) |

Probably going to be in the $500 range. The guy at Force said that it would be available fairly quickly. They are also working on a much quieter "street friendly" version. I couldn't care less about that. I just want one! I think it will be available in silver (they usually offer both, at least with the old pipes) The v-rod pipes are Force as well. Don't know anything about them though. They're using the stock header. Doesn't look like there's much room for a baffle though. Ross Smith Republic H-D/Buell 281-295-1000 ext. 109 |

Oh and for those that don't know about Force it is a "stepped" equal length header 2-1 pipe. Sounds awesome and probably the best pipe ever made for buells. Ross Smith Republic H-D/Buell 281-295-1000 ext. 109 |

So when will we get to see the dyno results and a price tag? I'm intentionally waiting on Force to purchase an exhaust system. |

Looks a freakin Cobras nest. Rear pipe looks like it sticks out pretty damn far where it crosses over the front pipe. |

Hmm, Scott gets bitch slapped for asking if anyone is interested in an S3 fender eliminator kit some guy is developing, yet here folks are giving basically free ad space for Force products. Whats with the double standards? I quote. "I think American Sport Bike already has them. And even if they didn't, freeloader advertising is frowned upon by the admin here. Admin " |

Is the rear mount or hanger on the new force pipe rubber, if it is they will have to change that, had the same mounting on my t-bolt and the rubber melted while I was still one the dyno and the pipe cracked at the collector. The pipe was junk in less than 500 kms,but it made lots of noise. |

Hey court, i haven't seen one better yet as far as full systems go. Don't know if you are saying that i am incorrect or just joking? Any one have an opinion on the best pipe for the bikes? Always looking for new info! Hey Dyna this thread is about new pipes for the XB series I wouldn't call it advertising. This thread is meant for discussion on products. |

I wouldn't describe a pipe that causes hearing damage as the "best pipe ever made for Buells". It might give you the most top end power, but IMHO the force muffler is ugly. I like the way MikeP's homemade muffler looks. Hey Mike, wanna make me a muffler for my Blast? James |

Although the Force pipes may be nice and loud, besides that they suck. I've already had mine reJethot coated and it needs it again. I've broken two mounts and now the pipe is cracking at the collector. And as for power gain, HA I got a whopping 67hp out of my 2001 M2. |

The Latus is music to my ears! The Force pipe does kick ass though. I had one on my sportster and it sounded real tough. It made big power too! |

The one I had on my t-bolt made 97 hp but had a big dip on bottom end, no baffle, and like Zombieslayer I to had the rear mounts brake had to make a HD mount at sportbike west. That to me is a lot of hassle for a pipe that is or was to be so great and cost 1,300 cdn.Ok I'm done my rant. |

Dyna, 1. The Force pipe is a major Buell aftermarket product already or soon to be in production that has captured the unsolicited interest of many here. 2. Some of our sponsors sell Force products. 3. Please show me where ANYONE was soliciting the Force pipe. Who's the "bitch" now? Consider yourself slapped. |

Zombie, The M2 is not likely to make any more peak HP no matter what pipe you out on it. It's cammed for midrange. |

Here's a question....why are these pipes so expensive? $500 for the Force, $600 for the D&D? I'm not bitching, just curious. Is it because Buell is such a small segment in the bike world and they can't make 10,000 of the pipes at a time? Usually an upgrade part from the manufacturer (Buell, H-D) is more expensive than aftermarket. The Buell race muffler seems like the bargain here. |

I tried to view your profile to see what other engine performance mods your M2 might have; unfortunately you have them hidden or left blank. But as to your 67 rwhp '01 M2 with a Force pipe... Firstly, as the wise Hootowl already mentioned, you cannot simply throw a high performance pipe onto a stock bike and expect a benefit. As Aaron has proven so well, the pipe and the cams work as a team. If they do not compliment each other, performance can be severely compromised. Secondly, an '01 M2 making only 67 rwhp is severely out of tune. You should definitely check the static timing, and carburetor jetting. My bone stock '00 M2 made 83 rwhp. Paraboy, The Force is a full header plus tailpipe/muffler system. I think that the Buell race header plus muffler will run you about the same as a Force pipe. High performance systems for other bikes are priced comparably, some actually MUCH higher. |

I like the way MikeP's homemade muffler looks. Just get earplugs. I prefer my automotive SuperTrapp. Tuneable and inexpensive. Oh, ok. Didnt notice the different header pipes on the Force pics. How long of a job is it to rotate the engine dwon to change the header pipes? Not that I'd ever try it, just curious! |

I had to do practically no fabrication. I used a 4" long stainless strap type clamp on the front and the 'Trapp supplied strap for the rear. I hooked one of the stock hangers to it with a cut down rubber exhaust bushing between the hanger tabs...been there for over a year now and nothing's broken.
