The Zero Gravity website finally has the 1125R listed along with prices. Only problem is they don't have any pictures yet. I do have a picture of the double bubble (as seen below). I recall someone posting pictures of the SR version, and sport touring version here ... but I had no luck in finding the thread. Can anyone provide a link/thread that had the different 1125R pictures with the zero gravity windscreens?

Helicon, good to hear. I plan on getting one soon. Go to their Yamaha R1, very similar to ours, and check out the three styles. |

3 screens together:Lowest=SR, Middle=Double Bubble, Tallest (and furthest back)=Sport Tour Stock replacement Double bubble with stock screen ghosted behind. I think I NEED the Double Bubble in dark smoke! Later Neil S. |

I guess you mean dash branding etc.? That's one reason why I'm going with the dark smoke. It will reduce the possibility of any melting/ branding issues from sunlight being focused of low temp materials. Time4Sleep Neil S. |

The SR maybe. The others are not attractive. Wish the stock smoke was darker and it would be the perfect windscreen. |

I need a little more coverage with my Convertibars, that's why I need the DB style. Neil S. |

Thankyou Neil, those pictures were exactly what I was thinking of. You don't realize how much higher the double bubble is, until you see it next to the stock replacement. Dark smoke is definitely the way to go, but now I have to decide over the sleeker looking SR version and the possibly more practical double bubble. |

I usually run the Buell tankbag and with my belly, I have a difficult time getting completely into the "Quiet Zone" with the stock screen. Keeping this in mind and my taller bars, the DB should suit me just fine. The reason I am going this route versus the ST is, potentially creating wind noise off the higher, and more to the rear, design of the ST. Later |

yuck. i never liked the firebolt ones and i really dont like that. i understand function wise it may be great, but sometimes i just cant ignore how bad something looks for the sake of functionality. |

The main reason I am going to get a dark smoke ZG stock shape windscreen is for functionality. In bright sunlight, which is most of my riding I have a hard time seeing the dash guages as many have found out even with the brightness turned to #6. What about all the colors they are offering? Many ways to customize your bike if you choose. Kind of expensive but they are great quality. I have had several. |

the color of the screen won't affect its ability to melt your dash, if that's even a risk in this bike. It happens from the sun reflecting off the surface from behind the bike, not coming down and through the windscreen. |

My local distributor amc sales here in Oz already lists this model; so I've ordered it straightaway as my daily freeway treks are bothersome with the low factory screen. Flouro blue, of course, to match the colour scheme of my white 09. Tas, when are we getting our k&n's? |

I just picked up a Kick Ash screen from Buell and that's what I'm going to run. The double bubble from Zero just looks like a bad idea visually. imho |

It's great to have options. IMHO, functionally, I need the DB in dark smoke. If you want to see a windshield that is waaay visually challenged, the one on my ST1300 takes the cake but, works GREAT! |

I have alway thought the screen was to low on my 25R. At 130+ if you lift your head up the wind nearly blows my head off. so DB is a must of me before me and my bike are forced to seperate.LOL I don't think it looks bad at all. just my opinion. later |

Heck you should try at 145 with taller bars! Actually I've only done that once (maybe 2x) but even at 55-80mph the added protection would go a long ways towards a more comfortable ride and protection from the elements. My main concern is wind noise and buffeting from the change in screen height. Time2Run Neil S. |

The last speed I saw was the 145. I did have a SEG moment when I glanced in the mirror and the R1 was falling behind, but that's another story. Anyway, yep extra protection at any speed especially at 30 or 40deg would be appreciated. Time2Run |

I have one each of the three screens here for doing some final fit checks and pictures for ZeroG. I've got a bunch on order, but that order won't ship until these final fit checks are complete. One of the checks I'll be looking at is parabolic sunlight focus on all three of the screens. All three have some similar shapes as the firebolt double bubble, the question is whether the focal point is focused on any of the hard parts at low sun angle (the instrument cluster in particular) I'll have them up on the site soon. Good man Mr. Lighton. Too bad the ORIGINALS were not tested in such a manner. |
