Aaron, great group pic, but i can't help notice that Erik's wearing the very same pair of jeans as when Court and i met him at the San Jose, CA airport in June '96 prior to the first Blue Groove! perhaps we should all chip in and get the poor guy a gift certificate to the Gap FB |

Roadrunr, What ever happened to that yellow S2 anyways? I wouldn't want anybody riding the RSS home. The tires are still original and very dry rotted. Dan |

JB2, i hope you'll forgive me for using some of the words in your e-mail to me last night: Warm Fuzzies from East Troy FB1, Trip to East Troy will no doubt be listed as one of the grandest times I've had related to motorcycling. Picture twelve Team Elves members loitering in the employee cafeteria cutting up with Erik and several other key people from BMC. We mingled with all of the employees getting personal tours of each their workstations. It was obvious they were amped that we were there. What a feeling. Several times I observed fellow teams members more than a little surprised with the attention. Erik takes his time and works the team roster and over the course of the day spends considerable time with each of us. Really cool. Lump in throat. Here amidst the push and grind of making a dream a reality and a financial success his interest and passion for the human element is first and foremost. Pinching myself, JB2" fellow Hooligans, from around the world, we are all a part of something very great here. Jim, thanks for making me feel like i was there FB |

To all, If you have ever thought about buying the Collett 900 communicators but weren't quite sure. BUY THEM!! They are unbelievable. Cil and I both got them and it makes riding so much better. No yelling or hand signals. Don't have to worry about somebody falling back and getting lost. Just a great product for riders and you can even hook up your MP3/CD, etc or your cell phone!! |

I've got an idea. We should all challenge AMA Pro Racing to a Daytona Grudge Race. Winner takes all. Buell puts up Mike Ciccotto on a Firebolt, against anyone they want on a BMW Boxer 1100. If the BMW wins, they can have the Boxer Cup at Daytona. If Buell wins, we get to have Pro Thunder back again. Until then we will call it the Un-American Motorcyclist Association, brought to you by the friendly folks who brought you WWII. Germany, Italy and Japan. Is that a plan or what? |

Jim, How about this? Show up the weekend before and watch plenty of Buells race at the same Track with Formula USA If BRAG was smart, they would reschedule their spring Daytona event to the weekend before, that way Buell owners would actually SEE Buells on the track. You could also go back to Daytona in October and watch the FUSA finale for 2003 So Buells get to race twice at that track next year, not three times like in years past. I once saw a bumper sticker that read "The South Lost, get over it." Buell will not race in the AMA anytime soon with their air cooled bikes, get over it. |

Is somebody tattlin' on me ,Richard. What an outstandingly great time we had at the Buell factory. It was a little unnerving walking into that room and having SO MANY people there to see US!!! And for those that were not there,Richard is an incredible gentleman. His speech to the employees of Buell thanking them was moving and of course, very modest about his achievements. He continually impresses, suprises, and makes you proud. Aaron ,also gave a very impassioned speech, thanking the people at Buell for making the bikes we enjoy so much. What a day!!! |

To all, Don't let Richard's humble demeanor fool you. He rides everything he straddles with an intensity that is awe inspiring. Believe me, I know. It is truly a magical thing to behold. Thanks to all who gave him the honor and the opportunity to be a part of this great effort. I miss him but I know that great opportunities lie ahead for him. By the way, the weather and the riding are great in our new location and our home is always open to the weary traveler. Wes and Pam, my hat is off to you on a truly awesome accomplishment. Producing that kind of power in a liveable package is not something that you pull out of the air. It is something that is the culmination of years of experience, hard work and intelligent decision making. Kudos. Brian Nallin Nallin Racing |
