I'm interested in going - can someone give me quick overview of the weekend. Also does everyone camp or would you want me to see if I can get some hotel rooms nearby? If so how far away is acceptable? |

Hey Eric, Mountain Roads and Factory Demo rides. The rest is up to you. Personally, I've done the camping thing and I am WAY over it. But the mountain roads more then made up for the hard mountain ground. Beer by the fire is only exciting for maybe the first night. (lol) Hotels are few and far between, but Cabins are everywhere. |

I looked online at couple of hotel chains and found employee deals on suites$69.00 per night(2 queen beds and pullout)they also had normal$29-$39 per night rooms available at a Hilton Garden Inn in Gainsville 29.68 miles from Suches, also there is a Holiday Inn approx 16 miles that I am going to check employee rates at this afternoon. Cabins are cool too. I agree that the ground can get old quick. Anyway sounds like fun, count me in. (Message edited by ekruizenga on October 22, 2008) |

Mike, What's about pricing?? How about a link. I travel alone mostly. I don't mind paying for a good "place". |

I tell you what, if I do go to MB6, I'm riding both ways... gas on the way back KILLED my finances for the month! Plus, the way we came back would have been some killer roads to have ridden on. Not as intense as those in Suches just more relaxing. |

Cane poles for fishing I'm in! Want me to make the reservation? Or you want to do it?? Sunday-Sunday or what? I'm tossing the idea of riding down, but the Jeep/trailer is mighty comfy. And it's a long ride back. |

Tank Either you or I can make the reservation. it doesn't matter to me. Kristi says it's best to reserve early as these go quickly. Sunday to Sunday is what I had in mind. Nine hours with a back pack is a little much for me and I like the idea of a plan B for mechanical failures. |

I don't think I'll be able to do a full week - going on a cruise the month before for a week. I will probably be able to do Thur-Sun/Mon or Fri-Sun/Mon. |
