I have a GME light bar coming and was thinking about buying these, will they work? http://www.piaa.com/Powersports/lamps.html PIAA CROSS COUNTRY H.I.D. |

They are smaller than my PIAA 510s on a GME bar, so I don't see why they wouldn't. I have heard that the PIAAs are rebadged Trail Techs, except the Trail Techs are cheaper. http://www.trailtech.net/single_hid_scmr16.html |

Trail Tech SCMR16 HID Spot? A lot of people have had problems with these. The PIAA's may simply be re-badged Trail Tech's. Before you buy these, you might want to read this thread: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=38 4870 I have the H7 HID Conversion Kit and rather than buy the Trail Techs, because of what I've read, decided instead to see if I can convert some Hella FF50's that I just ordered from Rally Lights to the H7 HID format. FF50 Hella @ Rally Lights: http://www.rallylights.com/hella/ff050.asp Even stock, the H7 Hella FF50's throw off a hell of a lot of light. . |

I have the TT MR11 (they draw around 13watts each), one spot, one flood. They are mounted upside down... so the wire is up. Both filled with water during an extended ride in heavy rain. TT fixed both under warranty and said the lights should be mounted the other way (would have been nice to know before hand).... which made me really happy. I used some black silicone to seal around the wire entry point.. we'll see how that works. Other than that.. I actually like the lights. I use them for driving lights so I can be seen. |

I really like that fact that the PIAAs come with the harness, waterproof switch, etc. But you can get those Yellow caps to put on them. I SWEAR by yellow light during the day, definately gets peoples attention. And at night, I just take them off... kind of dual function for me. |

court is funny LOL! I bought my '03 DR-Z 400S with a bunch of Farkles for less than the price of two sets of the PIAA HID's! I'm sure if Court were to ask the same question on the BMW board he'd get lots of responses Tipsy |

I bought a pair of 004XT super white, from a guy on EBay,brand new from Wisconsin. $114.00. the lights are really great. they are small, but VERY bright. They look good too! Made my own light bar from a bar of aluminum. They are also pretty easy to wire in. I wrapped the wires with 3M high temperature wire wrap, that is also chaffe resistant. |

I'm sure if Court were to ask the same question on the BMW board he'd get lots of responses Got the info I needed at the Iron Butt Riders Association. Thanks! I've ordered a ton of stuff and am going to try, as I posted on one of the lighting threads, several combinations and see what works best. |

Not my bike. Saw that at Liberty's birthday event last year, my bike had the fridge on the back and is the super fast carbon fiber. The light weight is how I do awesome wheelies.
