HD Tech mentality? And I thought all HD Techs were mental. I've had them tell me the HD way IS the ONLY way and if you want it different your on your own, but THIS IS how it's done. I,for one will always be thankfull for Bad Web and it's tech support! |

If you'll want to adjust your DRIVE BELT correctly on the belt tight spot and ZERO MOVEMENT("NOT TIGHT") this is how you set it up ... If you'll have any QUESTIONS on this feel free to ask ??? Ljenne73c@verizon.net In BUELLing LaFayette |

Have over 100K miles as of the last ride on by 97S3T ... Still have the original rear wheel bearings and countershaft bearing ... Have adjusted the DRIVE BELT this way from the time "i" bought it new ... Do not adjust either the DRIVE BELT or PRIMARY CHAIN by the FACTORY SERVICE MANUAL as the book is "WRONG" and has been for years ... The DRIVE BELT will not jump over the REAR PULLY(if DRIVE BELT is adjusted TOO TIGHT it prematurely wears out)until it wears out ... The countershaft sprocket is of harder metal and lasts 100% longer ... Still have the original rear wheel ... Remember this: HARLEY-DAVIDSON is in business to sell PARTS and BIG TWIN DRESSERS ...
