The ZTL2 is a big improvement over the ZTL1. No fade much quicker stopping and just one finger to stop it, well maybe two fingers

If you're used to the ZTL1 the ZTL2 will scare you on the track, at least for the first few laps. Even with the GFA345HH pads on my XB12R it still takes a fair amount of lever effort, but at least with those pads I don't get the fade that I got with the LRB Gold pads. When I did two track sessions on the 1125R I had to completely adjust my braking, the ZTL2 requires way less lever effort and has a much more consistent and solid feel.

Eboos,

I think I gave you the wrong impression. I am not trying to imply anything here, just want to hear comments from guys that pushed the 1125R hard.

By the way, since I am in the moto bussiness with www.flyride.gr, and my company owns a VFR, I can certainly say : "The VFR800 Vtec is the worst bike I have ever ridden!". I really can't believe that some journalists think of it as the best sport touring bike. It makes me wonder of how valid their reviews are.....

It is better to trust the comments of members of badweb, for the performance of the 1125R than journalists.

Vagelis46, it's not that I took it personally, it just that I saw that as a general shot at all that are trying to help and give their impressions of the bike.

I rode the bike as hard as the track at pocono would let me, and the heat on the foot i didn't feel. And for the fuel injection it was perfect. if thats all they can find wrong with it YAHOO. I race a XB12R and a XBRR for liberty hd-buell and this is by far the best bike buell has ever made GO BUELL

I think the journalists were referring to the heat on the boot and shin "at stops and low speed riding".

Can you compare the XBRR to the 1125R? What about the stock Showa suspension on the 1125R as compared to the Ohlins on the XBRR? Any other comparos would be appreciated.

I felt all of the heat on the tip and the side of my big toe on my right foot.

Maybe BMC will issue the 1125R with high tech insulated boots.

jimdan, what i meant was the suspension on my XBRR and the 1125R are both great. But for what it would cost to have put the ohlins on the 1125R would have cost to much money, And showa has most likely developed there best suspension ever. I just love the XBRR and for me to say any thing bad about it would go against ever thing that I believe in. Also for track days and club racing the 1125R sus. would be up to snuff with much more expensive sus.

Thanks Mutant Man, it sounds like the Showa stuff is top notch! I wasn't asking you to say anything bad, as you obviously loved both bikes. I am looking forward to watching you race on the XBRR again in 2008!

Im sure will be racing the RR next year. But we will focus this season more on MOTO-ST. With the way the rules are we can run the RR in the big class. So why not the 1125R if we can get the power down to the limits. It should be easyer then trying to get the RR down on pump gas. Only time will tell
