I got a phone call on Thursday from the Buell Dealer in Pensacola, FL. My new 1125R is being assembled in less than two weeks, and I should have it before Thanksgiving !!! I ordered it two days after the new model announcement in July, the Buell salesman is off on Monday, or it would have been one day after the announcement. I am getting the first one that comes in ! I'll be breaking it in, and then I have a track day at Jennings GP in Florida in January !! I was stoked when the call came through ! | ||

Congrats fellas! I am a Pensacola (milton) resident and Buell fan/rider as well. Not to sound like a stalker / bike jacker, but would you mind posting when you plan on taking delivery? Id love to see the bike in person. If you dont want to share the info online, would you mind if I asked Andrew? He knows how much I want to see one up close. I feel like I should be handing out "It's A Girl" cigars !! Track weekend is Jan 5 & 6 2008 at Jennings GP. There will be lots of photos of the delivery, I just have to think up a name for her. | ||

Hey Blasterd....come hang out with me and my friends the day after Thanksgiving at Jennings. I'll be there as part of a private track event. Sadly, I won't be on an 1125, I'll be riding my Gixxer 600 (blasphemy, I know, I know...). I'll be on a yellow and black Gixxer 600 with the number 54 on it. | ||

Andrew called me with an update yesterday. According to HDnet(?) my ship date has slid one day, to 12/6. Keeping my fingers crossed that it is an accurate date. Jack | ||

Jack - Sounds like they got the parts supply issue fixed. My ship date slid from 11/16 to 11/21. They must be expecting thru-put to climb for yours to only slip a day. Z | ||

My ship date slipped from 11/16 Friday to 11/19 Monday. It's a tossup as to whether I'll have the bike before Thanksgiving or After it. Then the real question is will it get there on Black Friday or the following week. No mater what, it looks like it'll be here before Dec. 1. I'd like to have it broken in before Jennings GP the first weekend in Jan. 08. | ||

Believe me guys, I'm keeping my eyes on it. I can't have one right now but I know you both and can't wait to see the expression on your faces when you get yours. Especially after you ride it and call me saying"Holy @#&*!!!" Bring your cameras for the delivery, if not I'll have mine. Patience Grasshopper.  |
