Just moved from Chicago to San Diego about 3 weeks ago. The SoCalBuell group is awesome. They have weekly events, rides, and wrenching sessions at this spot called Privateer's Garage. Check em out if you get a chance. |

When do you arrive? We are headed to Speedweek thursday but will be here until then. About an hour south of Sac. Or go by the track and visit the shop. |

Be sure to check out Lake Tahoe on your way in to Sac. It's no Lake Erie but it's still pretty nice. |

If you blast Lake Tahoe to Sacramento, make sure you do Ice House Rd/Wentworth Springs Rd. It is off of Highway 50 from Tahoe. The last fifteen miles of Wentworth Springs Rd. was paved just six years ago. It is a pristine winding road through the mountains. You will have a BIG smile on your face. Stop at Uncle Toms Cabin for a beer. It is down a dirt road just off Wentworth Springs Rd. Fireman Jim is at JTS Performance located at Infineon Speedway off highway 37. Make sure you bring a beer or two. Terry and Jim are awesome. Yeah, Tahoe is NO Lake Erie (Message edited by reindog on August 03, 2009) |

As opposed to Erie, Tahoe has no filth and pollution and is pictuesque...breathtaking. And yes, Jim likes his amber ale! |
