It was terrible pain in the fingers cutting all the gears and gluing stuff together. I am not kidding there is a paper clock kit it comes in a book form and you cut and glue and assemble it and it will keep perfect and accurate time! It makes me weary just to look at the work that went into it. I built airplanes, ships, cars, and even a few motorcycles (a "Then Came Bronson" Sportster, and two choppers). The farthest I ever went as far as super-detailing was to put plug wires on the car engines using black sewing thread. Holy crap- the guy BUILDS a chain?
