I've said it before & I'll say it again.....IT IS NOT A CHOPPER!
It is "maybe" chopper style, but a chopper starts with a stock frame...then cut it up..take off all the stuff not necessary to lighten it up.I'm sure someone will buy it,but the chopper craze is over. Now the only choppers will be built in the backyard,as they were in the 60's & 70's.
Not financed by some yuppy just to "look" cool.

This is more me - I have this as a long term test vehicle.
Pic taken this afternoon

I think it has good street cred and its faster off the line than a hyabusa.

Plus it's pretty tame around town if you want it to be.

How is riding that thing Dave? The one i sat on was huge i thought.

As to the honda choppah, i think it looks very cheap, but i also think the rocker with the grey painted parts looks cheap too. I wouldnt ever buy a factory "chopper" Closest thing would be a wide glide imo.

Reepicheep - the KLX is great fun. It's like riding a mountain bike with a motor. I've gotten a little reckless, and whenever I see somewhere I want to ride, I just hop the curb and go there. Sometimes I ride the power lines around here, and just cross streets and medians, riding over whatever is in the way. I also like to find small trails in the forest and ride them. It's what I wanted to do with the Uly, but it was too heavy and not really good at slow speeds. So now the Uly is just a commuter/long distance bike.

It fits me perfectly. I actually make it look a bit small - which is cool - I'm blogging it here.

I have the feeling in a year I will be able to get them really cheap as they roll back in on trade.

Dave,

A friend of mine has a highly customized R3. The latest mod is to replace the read tire with a car tire. I almost rear ended him the first time I rode behind him, I was laughing so hard. The outside side of the tire comes off the ground a fair amount

You can get an idea of what I'm talking about here here

He's gone from getting 10000 miles out of a rear tire to more than 18,000 at a lower cost. I figured he would last a month, well he's done much better. He actually rode more than 10,000 miles in June.

He says "you haven't ridden a rocket till you've gone to the dark side"
