Was reading my new cycle world a couple of days ago...and i'm impressed with Honda's new chopper...looks like they are the only company who know how to build and comfortable chopper...soft tail 4 inches of travel front and rear...feul injected 1300 just enough usable power...I'm not big on buying imports but this chopper looks good to...I could own this one. I like this color combo.

When my brother-in-law wants a new truck he heads over to the chevy dealer and when he wants a bike he goes to the Honda store. This bike will appeal to those type of people. I think it has a a couple of styling miscues and the fact that the chopper craze is over will limit their total sales to less than anticipated. Maybe if I saw it up close. But then again my eyes are still hurting from looking at the DN-01. |

Get ready to be flamed. This is on another thread elsewhere. I like to too. They nailed my favorite chopper style, reminds me of Jesse James stuff with the high headstock and lots of air over the engine. Good looking motorcycle. |

I don't know. To me it looks unfinished. Maybe its the dull paint looking like primer? |

The engine looks like plastic to me. The other side has some ugly covers to hide misc. |

I think it's awful. I'd take the DN-01 over this thing any day, although I'd still rather own neither. I guess as long as these things have fans the companies will continue to churn them out. |

Honda did an excellent job of taking derivative styling and executing it well, as they normally do. They are are company of execution, not innovation in my mind. |

The basic design is passable. The aftermarket will fix the rest. I'm sure they will sell some. |

I'll bet they'll sell more than "some." My guess is, they'll sell more of these than Yamaha sells Raiders and Harley sells Rockers. Just a feeling. |

I've heard between $11,000 - 13,000. But Honda has yet to release a price. If you call your local Honda shop, they might be accepting deposits, so they'd know a price. Maybe. |

It doesn't look too comfortable to ride. It seems like your body would be in an elongated C shape. I just don't get that. The bike looks alright though - the flat paint complements the shiny chrome. |

Seeing as I have a Uly and a KLX250 - I don't really recognize chrome very well. I guess I'm "chrome-ignorant", which is fine by me! |

I read an interview with Jesse James and it talked about his famous red Honda cafe racer he made but it also talked of 2 other bikes that he built for them. One was a chopper the other was more of a standard cruiser. He said they were looking for ideas for future models and wanted test subjects to show. This must be a direct result of the chopper and it also explains why this showed up so late. Honda must take their sweet time getting bikes out because that was quite sometime ago. I will wait until I see it next weekend in MN at the IMS to decide if I like it but I too feel it is about 5 years too late. |

IF I were into that style of motorcycle (and I'm NOT), I'd go for the Star Raider over that thing. |
