Okay, I gotta admit it - I don't usually get won over by things I don't like at first. Riding this X1 after only having ridden Harleys for years was weird at first. It just felt all wrong to me. I almost disliked riding it!

But after a few weekends of riding it on roads where it likes to be (Twisties!), I don't know if I could even sell it! I rode it to work again today, and had trouble pulling into the parking lot when I arrived - I wanted to keep going!

My experience with this Mill X1 is that it gets tons more attention than I ever thought it would, and it just gets better and better as my own riding skills improve (and I grow a bigger set of nuts!).

Buell haters just don't understand....

I can't even imagine riding a bike in snow. Rain makes me paranoid enough ... Not helped by the fact that many Californians aren't all that great at driving on wet or slick roads!

Rain's nothing as long as you don't mind getting wet...closest I've ever come to putting my knee down on my XB9R was in the rain! Snow...got to do that my first winter riding (on the Blast). I went out one crisp (28 degrees) morning in January. Rode to work and spent all day locked in my cubicle in Dilbert-ville. Came outside to find three inches of snow on the ground. Fortunately most of the roads had been cleared. Unfortunately only MOST of the roads had been cleared. Very, VERY slow ride home!
