My Buddy builds these from brand new Fat Bob's. He's sold a few so far. This one is his latest just finished day's ago. Not your average HD build for sure but fun to ride.

I like it. ALthough if I was going to own one I would like the frame painted.

Yabbut - having owned a couple REAL ratbikes, it needs some dents and REAL rust!

(except I sure like the look of it more than I like the predictable OC Chopper style)

I think the WL's and WLA's make the best ratbikes

That thing would be cool with a flat or mat black finish.
Leave the wheels alone and maybe the pipes.
Although red or gray pipes would also look neat.

Not my cup of tea but kind of neat anyway.
I'll bet it's loud as hell with those pipes..

I love the rims. The white pipes are great too. How are they on your leg though? They look like they would get pretty hot. I would probably ditch the suicide shift, but that is just a matter of taste. Cool unique bike. Thanks for posting it.

To answer a couple questions. The frame is powder coated to look like primer-rust. The pipes are not close to your leg. I know they do in pictures but actually they aren't. The wheels are 16 x 5.5 American Racing Wheels (Torque Thrusts).Brad like I said he's made a few. You like Matt Black then you'll like this one better. Remember Slaughter this is a brand new bike.

Yes indeed, I know they're brand new. I actually LIKE them... just contrasting with my own history of thrashing/crashing to get my own "seasoned" ratbikes.

My own ratbikes WERE really ratbikes - wire, duct tape, dents and zip ties.

These bikes are worthy of attention and closer looks! I'm a big fan of clean, uncomplicated lines.

I'd much rather have one of these under me than one of the trailer queens built by (fill in the blank) Chopper fabricators.

Here this is Rat Rod. And these day they need not to be rusty or the like but incomplete in some way or unpainted. So yes it is classified as a Rat Rod type bike. Heres a comparison. Or check out this link for other comparisons. I think he got what he was shooting for.

crude photochop.
If I had one (would love to) id remove the tailpiece and use the frame as a b!tchbar like the black one. Just my .02

I dig the Torq-thrusts on the black one.
Dude makes a nice chop.

Dana,

Thanks for bringing that excellent bicycle to our attention.

I REALLY like the pipes.

I could use something like that on my 2001 Dyna FXDX because the custom headers I have ground very easily, and I have to replace them soon before something bad happens, (again:-).

I wonder if those pipes would fit on my bike, if they have baffles and how much they might cost?

The way my engine is built, ( 95" Stage Three), I do not want straight drag pipes because of the mid-range hole.

I also wonder about the heat thing.

Lots of Harley pipes have heat shields integrated into the design. Lots like that might be the case here.

Jon I don't think they will work because of mounting points. They are 2 1/2 inch pipes that are baffled. He makes these pipes specific for this bike.

I'm not now nor ever have been a Harley fan or a chop fan, but that I like a lot, those are Torq-Thrust D wheels & I fancy a set for my Dodge too. I'd not want the suicide shift either, just a standard setup would be fine for me.

How much your buddy sell em for?

(thinks, the dollar's in the basement right now, if I sold everything & bought the wife an old Renault to run about in........)

12R,Yep that a buell piece. Also those brake are Wilwood 4 piston sprint car brakes that work in conjunction with one another. The master cylinder has been set up so most of the braking goes to the front first. Rear suspension is new Yamaha R1 reworked of coarse. Heres what the bike started as.... brand new 07. I'd rather have the stang in the back ground any day.

That is definitely one of the coolest bikes I have seen in quite a while. I love it!

Nice clean and simple. No candy gloss paint. That's my kind of ride.

Whereas I too would be hesitant to call that bike a Rat Rod I don't think the builder is interested in a semantic debate.

I do think it is one hell of a custom Harley.
Most likely the best I have seen.

There are not too many bikes like that I would like to own...that however, is one of them.
Tell your buddy to keep up the good work.

Stealth, Its classified as a Rat Rod bike. Not a Rat Bike. Meaning its incomplete in some ways. He does not have a website nor does he want one. Willie G. last year loved the bike. He sell about three a year. Thats about all the time my buddy has for them.

12r that Stang is about the meanest frigg'n car you'll ever go in. Its fast but its really not a street car. on occasion it makes it on the street. Its a road race car. has everything to be legal to be on the street but.......
