OK most of you know I've lunched the M2 so I'm looking around for a replacement, no hurry still haven't got the insurance money. Anyway found this "too good to be true" deal on ebay uk, & sent a mail to the guy to ask about payment collection & any outstanding work needed. I know I know if it seems to be too good to be true it probably is, but here's the reply, what do you think? eBay a envoyé ce message à Innes Thomson (thommo44). Le nom que vous avez fourni lors de votre inscription apparaît pour montrer que ce message provient bien d'eBay. En savoir plus. No work needed! I have to tell you that I'm currently out of town with some major business problems so pick up/view isn't an option. Sorry about that... Hope you will understand... But, you can still buy the bike... The selling price will be £1300... For this price I will include free delivery of the bike anywhere in the UK. You will also have access to a refund policy on this transaction. However, before any delivery can be done we have to start the transaction on ebay so we can be both protected. In order to start the transaction on the eBay system I need to receive some details from you: - your full name and address (for your invoice + delivery purposes)... As soon as the above details will be provided I'll start the official transaction on eBay and they will notify you about this. You'll also receive important guidelines + instructions from them ( please go through them exactly ). Will wait to hear from you. Thank you for your interest... Glad that you at least ASKED before leaping. If I ever see something that looks like that, just for fun, I send a note telling the person that I have a friend who happens to live "within an hour" who could stop in to look it over. I have YET to get a response. Let it die and hopefully no innocent sucker gets pulled in. |

Only way I would ever buy a foreign bike, is if I was standing in front of the the new XR1200 on the showroom floor in Europe. PT Barnum would have loved the internet ;) A fool and his money are parted at 56k download rate |

Call me anal... Thomas Tusser said A fool and his money are soon parted. PT Barnum said, There's a sucker born every minute. Either way...

My dad lives less than an hour from where this bike is supposed to be & one of my best mates works in the area. That's why I'd of liked it to have been a kosher deal. I'll wait a few days & then send him another mail, if no reasonable response forthcoming, I'll grass him up to ebay uk. Update, just looked & the listing has been pulled from ebay, someone else must have dropped the dime. (Message edited by Mr_grumpy on August 08, 2007) |

Mine's available too. Shoot, buy them both, take them both back home, or ship one home now and keep the other one here stateside until after the 2008 Homecoming. = = = = = (side note to Bomber: has the LSR effort taken a side path?) |

I may have another M2 on the way that a friend knows of, with a blown mill, mine's just had a top end rebuild, 06 oil pump drive & a primary shoe, so with any luck I'll be back on a M2 soon(ish) it's even the same colour. Keep my fingers & toes crossed. |

sumabiatche, only thing worse than plagerism is the misquote. Ok, please excuse my misfire. All the world is a circus and we are but mere clowns waiting for the literary police to show up at my door with a warrant. |
