Yes that tail section is a great credit to you, as is your attention to detail all over the bike. Rocket in England |

thanks a bunch all!! The seat is a stock X1 that i had reshaped, gel insert added, and custom covered. All done by HT Moto in CA. Great work and fair price. Tank is just a stock 2000+ X1 tank. Bought it on ebay for $40 with a couple gouges in it. Gave it a little TLC and some new paint and decals which are under the clear now. I still have my other blue plastics so i can switch back and forth. My also buy another set of 2 of plastics and do some other colors as well. Still wanting a pearl white and maybe an orange. |

Pony your work is always appreciated . As a machinist for more than 30 years I can appreciate the detailed machine work and tastefulness of your build . If it was me I would only add a rear fender same paint as the tank and front . I think it completes the bike but that is only an opinion . Keep the pictures coming this is why I come here to gander at the creative bunch of folks we can be.. |

Did you draw up and make or have someone make that rear pulley or is it commercially available? matching the wheels in both design and spoke placement is very cool...well done on all accounts! |

i designed and machined it myself- Then sent it out for hard coating. Its a X1 61 tooth instead of the XB 65 tooth with the XB bolt pattern and of course the XB wheel design. Keeps the stock gearing. Dark Horse use to make a similar design but again, it was only a 65 tooth for and XB. (Message edited by purpony on July 24, 2014) |
