Mr Wiz, are you looking for a front pulley? I hope to have one soon, I've got a spare in the machine shop to get drilled and lightened, so you can have the stock part from my bike when it's done. Looks great by the way, I really like that front fender. |

that would be awesome, I just need one to use while mine is getting powder coated! Had it out yesterday and put on a little over 100 miles. Runs good, I will go over it today and re-tork all the bolts. I think I might need to tighten up the pre-load on the front forks. |

If I blackend out the engine it is going to turn into a 88" motor and thats not gana happen until we get another bike to ride. It was dynoed on Sat. It took 2 hours. Took it for a ride on sun and everything seems to be good. I love the new exhaust, it has a very nice bark to it! |

Can we see the dyno, or at least get an update on the findings? |

It dynoed at 90 hp and 88 tork. This is on the stock bore and pistons. The changes I have made are: single fire ignition, Andrews N4 cams and 42mm Mukuni carb with a Yost power tube. I thought it would have been more but the dyno is ALOT steeper than what it was. I have done everything I can think of without splitting the motor. There just is no replacement for cubic inches |

Well, there is one thing you can do...Bump up compression. |

with head work? |

Some people say XB9 pistons with XB heads...I'll let you know when I break the 100hp barrier with it. |

When I get another bike I might put a 88 kit in it, but with all the paint on it now it's not really that kind of a bike anymore. I might just have to buy another Buell!!!! (Message edited by mr_wizard on April 14, 2010) |

There is still plenty to do to make power. XB heads are nice, but those alone and pistons won't make a huge difference, unless you use XB9 pistons. Don't even think about using XB9 pistons if you don't have at least 93 octane gas available local (I don't, anyway). They raise the compression to about 12:1. To make power, get some porting, some forged pistons (10.5:1 or 11:1 CR is nice), and some higher lift cams. N4s are basically stock X1 cams. Even with the combo Wilson mentioned, I don't think you'll break 100 RWHP without higher lift cams, like SE .536s. |

so where i'm at for power is probly where it should be? |

Yeah, that sounds about right, maybe 1 or 2 HP low. That could be from a difference in Tuesday or Friday built bike. |

The take off it has is pretty impressive compared to last year! The front tire comes up with alot less effort. I had a bad dead spot in low RPM's that the carb fixed right up! It is running very well. Went threw to tighten things on Monday and nothing is loose. The Buell race exhaust is way better than the D&D I had on there last year. |
