Anybody know the part number? Anybody know a cheap easy-to-locate alternative? Anybody have one they wanna send me? I need one but there's no close Buell dealerships to get them.

Ross, I used Mr Gasket on mine when it decided to drip. I backed out the plug and applied the gasket stuff and screwed it back in. Worked great. No more drip.

I may have had the original gasket on there because it broke into many pieces.

Do you mean the gasket that the techs at the dealers always lose from your oil drain plug, just take your plug to any good auto parts store and get some nylon ones.

The washer is Harley PN 6700B, "WASHER, 5/8 X 13/16 X 1/16"

I've been using a copper sealing washer form an old '92 Mercedes Benz 300 SE that was left over after an oil change. It was used and is still working great after several years service. Check your local auto parts store for one that fits. The original fiber washer never sealed very well and then cracked. It was time for a better replacement!
