I was wondering if the rocker covers off of a 2004/later 1200R would fit on a 2K X1? I would like a complete replacement, not just tops. If they do fit, are they an improvement? Thanx

They will, but get the XB rockers they are better....

They rubber mounted XL covers will give you no advantage.
The Sportys still breath through the heads,not through the rocker boxes like the XBs.
I don't think they will fit at all.They have cooling fins and because of that they built taller than the former covers.

Yep, the XB rocker covers are the way to go. Did it on my M2 after polishing down the course finish. One less piece to leak;)
