Yeah, the drama continues, I am not hurt and the bike just has a black eye. No big deal I really just wanted to tell everyone the frame pucs work great, although upon closer inspection the 12's headers are so big they also hit the ground and got a few samll scratches.

Shred, where did you get your wheels done? My clear is peeling and the color is coming off where the rim got bent from being rearended so I want to get them powdered or dipped in chrome.

We had Shred's wheels done. Talk to Travis. New12r, there is a peg in my office next to my printer. It is the one off of B_S bike. Remember he had the wrong peg on his, it's an R peg but I'm not sure what size. When you go by the shop just ask someone to give you the peg.

I've been looking into that, one of the things people get confused about.
Yes exhaust wrap can degrade headers not made of stainless steel.
Ours being stainless we've nothing to worry about.
Check out Blake's M2, many many weathered miles.
Trenchtractor has had no problems either.
There are a bunch of BadWeBbers with the header wrap with no problems. Not heard of anyone with stainless have a problem.
If you have, or know of a problem, please post a link.
This may not be for keeps, because I know once I see B_S's ceramic coated headers, I'll be re-thinking all over again.

It just dawned on me that my repaired slider and the pucks are in my truck. So I went down to see how they're going to fit together. The puck covers everything, except the edge closest to your knee. There's a *small* gap. I don't think there will be any gap when I go to put them on. The pucks (being in the truck since Hulley delivered them) were/are rather cold. Very stiff, I imagine once they get a little warmer (room temp) it'll be a non-issue.

My bike will look better when I'm done, then it did BTA*
