Anyone coming through the area(Clinton Iowa) , get a hold of me,I'm on vacation, and can help anyone after Thursday. there is room for camping and we can sleep a couple of people inside. The dyno thing is kind of hooky, its two interia wheel dynos side by side on a trailer, with a Xmas tree light setup in front. Most dynometer runs(interia wheel ) are started in a high gear,not first. |

You live in Clinton? Holy crap I go there once a week practicaly just to smell the fresh air. NOT! I could go that way to the cities this Saturday after I get off work if you wanted to hook up. I really don't need a place to stay though seeins? how I'm only 45 min from there.

So were you planning on going? If so I can swing through. I like going back roads instead of interstate anyway. I should be off work by 11 and ready to leave Sterling by noon.
If not maybe I'll stop by anyway if thats OK? How far north on 67? Elk river junction, Sabula

As you come into Clinton on 67 take the first right(without giving my whole address out on the net!,call ). I hope to find some time to go, you are welcome to stop by anytime.

I get off work at 12:30 on Saturday. When are you guys getting to the QC? We could meet at Wieblers at a time determined by your schedule and go downtown from there. |

I'm going to try to make it down on Saturday, just got a call this afternoon from a few friends who are driving through on their way to CA and may be here on Sat.
If I do make it down, VR1203, can I crash in a corner of your yard? I'll just bring a sleeping bag and make a beer run after we are done with the shindig in Davenport. We've got to get together and ride one of these days! There are maybe 3 Buells in all of Dubuque. |

Jim I'll give you a call today to get your address. I'll be off work Sat at 11 so I should be in Clinton by 12ish-12:30ish.
Charlie Depending on when we leave here and possibly Jims I'd say should get to riverfront by 1:30. Probably won't go up to Weiblers. We'll just ride down along river from Clinton. I don't feel Weiblers deserves Buell in their parking lot.
Alex We'll have to get together. We come through Dubuque at least once a month going up to Cabella's and back down Wi side. I'd love to ride with your group.

Chad, and the rest of you guys, I'd like to show up en masse also, would be pretty cool.
In the QC I've seen a few Buells, and know that they do sell here to some extent but haven't actually talked to more than Chad and a guy that rides an X1.
Chad, I'll give you a call on your cell sometime before noon tomorrow so you'll have my number. It hasn't changed in the past year has it? If so I'm pretty sure I've got it programmed in my phone.
Not sure how long I'll be able to hang with you guys on Saturday but I'm looking forward to meeting a few more of you. |

Chuck, My number has changed, my wife has my old number new phone is 563-320-4224. Anyone can call me when they are leaving and we can all meet up. IT sure is nice to know there are a few more riders around.
I saw a yellow X-1 parked in Blue Grass the other day. Does anyone know who's it is?

Its starting to make me a little sad I didnt make it up to see my folks this summer now. It would have been great to ride with you all. Looks like theres alot more buells than I thought there were in that area (I grew up in Savanna Il) Looks like I'll have to make my summer trip north around this same time next year to ride! |
