Hey Paul, I will be gone today headed down south to visit my mom. But I have every thing ready in a box. I will set it out on top of the sand bags you know where. If you come by you can grab it! There is one extra part in there that I need blasted but it has special instructions I will call you with those details! Thanks again.

I thought you had that deal whipped! Too bad man ebay pisses me off these days! hahaha

When I was gettting ready to leave they announced that there were over 6500 bikes present

I would guess that they raised close to $500,000 for March of Dimes

Midwest Stunters crashed a bike into Jack Millers display, damaging a HD that belonged to one of their crew, their truck and came close to hitting someone's kids standing there.
What people find entertaining about those squids is beyond me.

That's what happens in the Midwest, when someone says some babies could use our help, 6,500 bikers show up. This was the scene at the 8am opening bell...
in

This line was 3 miles long when I arrived, and that was the early risers. A steady stream of arrivals continued and the line was still entering when we left for the outbound loop at 9:30. Somehow in this line I found KCBill and met another M2 named Peter. He knows you Rusty, was wearing one of your patches!

6,500 bikers laying down $30 per rider, or more. The bell rang many times for the $1,000 contributers. "I get a free lunch? COOL!"
Somehow I ran into S2Scott in this line.

What a day for the kids.

Hello KC Mob,

How many BRAG members typically show up for the monthly meeting?

Gowindward, it really just depends. Some months we have a big turn out (around 12 - 15+ people) some months we have 4 or 5 show up it really varies. Come on out!

On an un-related note my wife bought a blast today. It's on '02 she found on ebay and bought it outright from the guy over the phone. It's in St. Louis, but we can't pick it up though until next weekend (25th & 26th) She has prior engagements this thursday but says she would like to join me for the meeting next month!

And Bill sorry I didn't have a lot of time to talk with ya, we were on our lunch and my supervisor can be pretty picky about the times. I do apologise for not getting with you sooner. I will have your stuff with me on thursday!

I spoke with Ferris last night to firm up making the connection with him in Arkansas later this week and have some news...He and JB2 have run into the typical moto trip glitches and are about two days behind schedule so here is the revised plan...They will not get back to JB's house until this coming Saturday evening...Ferris will ride to STL on Sunday and stay with me Sunday eve...The two of us will launch Monday morning for Eureka Springs AR...I have about a 500 mile day planned for Monday in order to show Ferris some of the best of MO and AR roads so we will not get to Iron Horse Stables until early evening Monday...Tuesday we will ride more of AR exiting the state late Tuesday evening via the Talimena Scenic Byway (AR 88 and OK 1) west of Mena AR...Then westward ho for both of us to Cali...We both need to be in SoCal by Thursday evening...Jerry and know that not being in AR over the weekend probably puts a big hurt on any plans you guys had made to hook up with him but it couldn't be helped...However, just on the slim chance that someone could join us in Eureka Springs Monday evening I told Jerry I would let you guys know...Also, anyone who wanted to ride all day with us on Monday is welcome to stay with us Sunday evening at my house...

Thanks,

Bob

So how hard is it to polish something?? hahaha

Paul has sand blasted my parts one of them being my left side engine cover. I was going to paint them with high heat temp paint. But I am not too sure if that will hold up very long in the spots that my shoes rub. I was thinking of polishing the whole cover (its not real big) and its already been sand blasted. How hard is this to do? Anyone wanna help me with that? Tonight? lol I gotta get this all done before sunday so I can put my mini bike back together! If I don't polish it then I have to start painting it right away so it can dry and have other coats added before sunday.. sam? anyone? help?

Derrek, it will be some extra work if it was sand blasted because you have to make it smooth before you start to polish it, First you will have to sand it all perfectly smooth, then you have to have Polish buffs to go on a grinder or drill and the polishing compounds to do it with. You can buy them at Skates belting supply down town probably about 30.00 for the stuff you will need. Then a lot of time and work after you sand it smooth you should have some shiny parts.
