Hey Circusninja, I took a look at that bike last week when I checked out C & A's 25 yr. Birthday bash.....nice ride with only 4,000 miles on her. Wish you the best of luck getting her! Sounds like the previous owner traded her in for a CBR. |

Hey Dennis_c I am always looking to ride, have friends in Plaincity, Marysville and Bellefontaine. Used to check out the Honda parade of lights when that was going on....lots of mixed bike riders for a Honda homecoming event. Always a fun time. |

Hey locals... before this gets plastered everywhere I can think to post it, I wanted to let you all know my Uly is for sale.
Ultra-quick summary: 2009 XT with 28,xxx miles. Top box but no side cases. Tons of farkles. Needs tires and a front brake rotor. Not a show bike; it's freshly detailed, but it's been ridden, and has some wear to prove it. It will be priced to move. PM me if you're interested and I'll try to work with you to make a fair quick-sell price. It has tons of brand new parts inside the motor/tranny (just about all seals and bearings are brand new), and it has about 2.5 years left of extended warranty.

Well Denis wins with the tire order. He received his pair a few days after ordering.
I received the wrong rear tire a few days after ordering. Then a correct front tire several days later. Today I received a second front tire, instead of the corrected reshipped rear. |

I'm working Saturday and trail riding Sunday... speaking of which, any of you dirt biking folks interested, a group of us are riding Clear Fork Ski Resort Sunday, they open at 9am, and we'll be there then! No plate/sticker necessary, but it is $5.

I saw an orange Ulysses going down my road Friday or Saturday. I almost ran off the road when I saw it because we live in BFE and I never expected to see one in the area. Anyone on here? I saw it again yesterday or today northbound on I71 between exits 131 and 151 |

Hey ya'll. My other motorcycle group (AdvRider) does weekly dinner gatherings, and I've got one scheduled for a cookout at my place, so I'd like to forward the invite on to all of you. Anyone/Everyone is invited, but give me a clue (on here is fine) that you're coming so I can guess on food/drinks.

I did not sell it. Cease reading now to maintain a positive attitude...
I've kept it on the down low, but it blew it's guts out just 70 miles after it's last (2nd within 6 months) motor/transmission rebuild. I've contacted both dealerships involved, as well as Harley, about them buying it back. Farrow's is being... well... unhelpful, to say the least. I'm now contemplating getting a lawyer. It sucks. OK, I am officially freaked out. I assume your servicing dealership was AD Farrows downtown? I specifically took it there bc my original servicing dealership (closer to Athens) returned the bike to me last time with half the fairing bolts missing(!) ADF has had my 1125R now for 10 weeks and there is no end in sight. This is my third blown stator on the bike and this one is not under warranty. EBR was very helpful and suggested a new rotor from them, which I ordered and had delivered to ADF. However, they do not have the tool to get the rotor nut off and can't find one (OMG). I have no idea when I am getting my bike back and have a sick feeling its lost for the season. I've had 11 bikes now and the 1125R is without question, the one I most connect to...I'm rather bummed that service has turned in to this kind of nightmare and only see it getting worse. I originally took this to ADF bc I did not have the two tools I needed to do the job myself and was hoping to find a better dealership for repairs. SO, anybody got any insight into who is the best dealership to use for Buell repairs in OH?? |
