IMS was OK, but not as good as previous years. Obviously no Buell, but also no HD (OK with me), no BMW, Triumph, or MotoGuzzi. Ducati had a large presence + the big-4 metrics. At any rate, managed to spend out a good bit of my wallet. Gets to be too many people by afternoon for my tastes. |

Hey folks. At the meeting at Barley's I mentioned I was working on a "project". Well, here she is. What do you think? (I think its pretty sick myself!)
Here's the deal for COBRA. This project cost me $100 for two vinyl decals. $50 was for the computer/art work and the other $50 for the actual decals (two, each facing forward for L & R side). The shop is local. Nice folks. They have e-artwork on file. I'll eat the $50 for setup. Send me a PM and I'll hook you up if you want a set. This was done in reflective blue (shines white at night like state trooper vehicles...neat safety feature) which was relatively expensive. About 30 colors are available in plain vinyl which will bring the price down to about $30.

Great Job Ohbuellman! Looks so Cool! I am thinking where I can put this sticker on my XB9R.. Ummmm,,,it looks like the sticker is little too big for my bike.. envy! |

We should only be so lucky in SE-OH. I rode today in the rain in Athens. Haven't seen a snowflake yet! Didn't take the R or CR--didn't want to get them dirty. :-) |

I'm working the Motorcycle Ohio booth at the Easyrider show this weekend. Last night I was walking around and found a 1125R sitting next to a bunch of choppers with a for sale sign on it.
It was taken in on trade at Nelson Auto Group out of Marysville. He had 7995.00 on it but after talking to me about the latest with Buell. I think he would take 6500 or maybe 6000. It only had 347 miles on it.... wish I had the extra $$$$ |

My dad went on Sunday because he had a free ticket, and said the show was a bomb. I know a few guys they called and basically begged them to enter their choppers in the show.
Sounds like that type of motorcycling is about done?
I could do a meeting on Saturday evening or anytime Sunday if enough others want to do a weekend thing. |
