No gravel or mud, but I don't think I've ever rode my buell through mud. I'm sure it won't help in the rain, but the cheese grater never helped much anyway.

This is a riding bike. I've got 16,000 miles on it since April. I can't image having a bike like this in the garage and not riding it.

If I cut off the fender what would I use to strain the pasta? My garage door broke so I have to take the bike out through the back yard via the back door. Melted snow = mud + buell = fabulous mud rooster tail today! Woo Hoo!!! I wanna cut off the tail to toss a rock at a tailgater!

you can buy several different tails from aftermarket companies. In my own opinion if you cut the factory one its looks unfinished. Check out iron machine for some nice tails

Maybe I need some glasses cause they all look the same other then the carbon fiber and the one with the different lense.Other then that they all look like the stock cut piece.

I agree BadS. Once I chrome mine, it'll look like it was machined.

Hi Aaron,

I designed the brackets in a solid modeling program and then had them fabricated locally. I intend for the brackets to be a new product for Dark Horse Moto but have not been able to complete the kit and get it onto our web site.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Keith

Getting mine thru the final stages. I'll post more pics later. The tail piece is much darker than I wanted, but I refuse to paint it again. If I get sick of it, I'll do it over a rainy summer weekend. It does, however, match my helmet. Notice I integrated LED lites for signals in my license bracket.
