Just a reminder to folks that are still riding in the North. If you are riding in temperatures below 65º, you might want to think about softening your suspension settings.
I have been riding in the 40 to 50º range, so I backed out all my settings a half turn, and reduced the preload in front a half a line. I also took a couple of pounds of pressure out of the tires to make them run a bit hotter.
All together, they make the bike feel a bit more planted in the turns: the suspension was beginning to feel too stiff.

yeah i get a real stiffy when i ride my Buell at 26 degrees F. seriously though the suspension fluid gets really thick below 40 degrees, and we run a bit less compression damping here in Alaska, as per the owners manual recommendation.

Ouch!! 26 is too darn cold for this Buelligan:-)
Seriously Dean, how did you convert to chain? I am on by third belt, and am thinking about going for an 04 belt conversion or a chain. Did you engineer your own set up, or did you buy a kit? I would prefer a chain set up with an idler wheel to an adjustable swing arm. How do you like the chain now that you have it?
