Can anyone tell me how to remove the headlight bezels? I think that is what they are called, I am referring to the funny shaped, flat, black peices that go around the headlights in the fairing.

unless you're doing it to replace them... dont do it. I did, and promptly found out what they're for. The headlights when parked faced direct sun create a marvelous magnifying glass effect that will melt tracks in your fairing. Those bezels can handle the heat, your fairing cant.

If you must take them out they're basically just stuck in their with this double sided foam/tape. get it hot (heat gun, blow dryer) then gently pry them out. They're brittle so go easy.

When you break them, I have a set coming back from Darthane that he didn't need!

Those get real brittle. If they have been on the bike a while and you try to remove them, they are very likely to break into multiple pieces. Superglue works wonders for them though after you get all the puzzle pieces back together.

Yea I removed mine when I had the respray, and found the bloody sun burned a track in the fecking fairing!!!
If you try and take em of they WILL snap into bits, you will need to order replacement ones or failing that put in an alloy polished metal strips to reflect the sun.

You cant really see it but I put some Alloy foil tape on the bottom of the glass and the housing at the bottom of my lights to reflect the sun
