Clever, and some nice welding. I wonder what donor bike the swingarm came off of? |

Are you sure that's xopti's project? Looks an awful lot like loose1's swingarm... |

lol, that's not on a bike: But you're right. I saw Matt's bike at a local bike night a month ago- quite the engineering feet to see! His was a Duc arm and wheel. It's been done, but it sure is a task to accomplish!

Its Xopti's , I exchanged Emails with him about it , saw his name on the pictures , etc , and there are clear differences between the two . |

Hey guys Loose and I both got together on a few ideas mid winter and we each started these arms around the same time once we figuring out what path would be best. Mine Just got a little delayed while, I was working on the Triple tree setup first(loose made me some bearing inserts to mount the new tree I had to extend) and a stay as well as a new tail section. He and I collaborated in a different forum while we were doing these in a private room. We are working on a few more tricks... More pics will surface eventually. Just ask Matt he will tell you the same. we will continue to do more projects. North meets South... lol I used a 2007 speed Triple arm. these have more sprockets available and the wheel looks more like the front this way. It's welded with two different types of wire... |

Xpoti's job seems alot cleaner , with the oil tank side cut-off following the curve of the wheel , and the Triumph wheel seems a closer match to the Buell XB front wheel , than the Duc rear is . IMO |

I love how the remnants of the original swing arm make a little hugger around the front. |

gearing up for last prep and paint on arm and frame. I have a bit more welding to do on slider mounts and gizmo's for the full body kit. |

A suggestion: If you paint that arm, deliberately mask off the cut side on the left to draw more attention to it. Perhaps pain the "cut" white and the rest a contrasting color. |

So VERY !!!COOL!!! I love the way the left side cut follows the line of the tire. Beautiful. Loose1's is cool too, just not quite as aesthetically pleasing. |

Project has moved forward 2 inches. My green and white bike will get torn all apart to Build the new one. The old white frame and swing arm will move to storage with a few of the other parts not used. this will keep moving forward but as stated slowly. I have all the pieces going this route and can always start a next project later if needed or desired having 3/4 of a bike from the merger as extras. |
