I have a spare set of wheels and would like to put a set of agressive tires on.... the Pirelli syncs arent quite as agressive as I'd like... finding it hard to find not-quite-knobby tires in the factory rim diameter...any help????

Talk to Cityxslicker, he is our resident Orange Mud Bug.

He will either have, or know of such a tire.

Fit some race wet weather tyres : )

They won't last long in dry weather (around 1500 miles if you are lucky) but boy do they grip! In the wet you'll be a riding god to your friends (especialy if you don't mention the tyres to them).

These are Michelin wets.

Alternatively most major manufacturers now make Supermoto tyres to fit 17" rims. These are from Maxxis.

Wcbrracing,
Goto webbikeworld.com - on leftside blue menu go down and select TIRES. At top of TIRES screen click on pirelli MT 60 for Kawasaki Versys. Might be something for your consideration.

Do a search on the "Big, Bad and Dirty" board. Use key words "Distanzia" and "MT 60". Those guys talk about aggressive tires a lot.

And Mud, sorry for the late post, I was in a meeting. I do love me the Mt-60s, they even handle well in snow

I like the look (and grip) of the Pirelli Scorpion Syncs. I rode a friends CityX with them on there (stock equipment) and I ordered a set for my Bolt the next day. They are very confident inspiring tires (at least to me). Soon as these new Dunflop Sportmax tires are worn on my M2. hello Pirellis!
