Happy New Year all, So, on the 31st my father decides to ride my 2008 XB12Ss down to the police station to get my VIN inspection for registration. Within two blocks he manages to run out of gas, kill the battery, and dump her twice. A deputy sheriff helps Father to charge the battery, but she won't start now. My father finally got her home with the help of some helpful citizens and the use of one of their trailers. I did a close inspection of the side she fell on. Rizoma barend slider needs to be replaced, Rizoma brake lever is all scratched up, fork and axle Rhino Moto sliders are munched (great job protecting), and last but not least my Rizoma rearset on the right side is bent. The whole rearset is bent halfway up. I can't be mad at my father, he was trying to help. He said he would replace everything, but I am going to go a cheaper route. I don't want him to have to pay for all of that stuff. The Rizoma rearsets are up to 600+ with the exchange rate. Anywho, anyone have some suggestions on which direction to go? DOOM |

Damn. I drove thru Casper on Dec 31st and the streets were snow & ice covered! No wonder he dumped it. Look in the classifieds and EBay for some stock parts for replacement. Good luck. |
