I'm getting 125 miles between fill up and fuel light on. I normally get fuel within 20 miles of the light coming on. Sound about right? Mods are Buell race filter, race ECM, and Drummer. This just seems a bit short on range to me. |

Sounds right to me. I used to get more, but now I have the Drummer, race ECM, and K&N filter. Light usually comes on around 115 to 120. |

Sounds right, I get to 127 on a tank when the light comes on, pretty much consistently. |

Disturbed, that sounds correct to me as well. With steady cursing (but who does that) you might stretch it to 135-140) I don't have the 9 but 12ss with larger fuel tank, mine comes on around 160 (45 mpg)with standard commuting. When playing it will come on around 130 (37 mpg). |

Mine is anywhere from 125 to 145, but my best so far was 160. I think my 06 holds a little bit more fuel tho cause the inlet air no longer goes in thro that passage in the frame. |

142 and then the light, 15 miles on the light. Then I use the Jerry Cans to fill back up (gallon + in the tank bag, 2 2 gallon gerrys one on each side) Then back out on the dirty and Bendy. |

Good to hear guys. I'm getting great mileage, guess it's just a range disappointment. Thanks, Cord |

Best so far was a 500 mile trip to Road America, and by the 3rd tank I was at 63 mpg. Normally around town with a heavy fist 48. The worst was a ride on some fun roads north of Appleton WI, I was as low as 34 mpg. By the way mine is a '03 9R w/ race kit. |

A second for Southsidebuellone. Best mpg of 74 on Skyline Drive and onto Blue Ridge Parkway. I usually get about 60 mpg here in WV mountains on my stock 2003 XB9SL. Then again I did get 6,200 miles out of my first rear tire. Chicken strip, is that the one in the middle with all those little fuzzy cords flapping in the breeze? |

^ I cruised along the Blue Ridge parkway one day and averaged 65 mpg. XB9 with Race kit. IN town and at fast highway speeds, not much more than 115 when the light comes on. But a cruise though some back roads helps alot! |

Maybe you DO get better gas mileage with the stock can,BUT you also have a wheezy sounding bike..... 115-120+20 with the light on is average for me LITTLE more if I keep it under 100 for most of the tank. (Message edited by Buelltroll on April 01, 2007) |
