My predictions:
1. Rossi

Yawn......

The rest: )

No cheating in it as far as I could see. If he had the bollocks big enough to brake that late he deserved to win!

My guess -

1.) Rossi
2.) Sete
3.) Nicky Hayden

I agree no cheating, Sete left too much space on the inside.... There has been no fines, not even any warnings that I have read about. Sete left too much space and Rossi stuffed him.

One web site that Sete was questionable.....any update?

By the way, where was Max? I am pulling for Edwards to get it together

Beer spillin excitement in the final laps!

From these photos, doesn't it look like Rossi is way out of position? Sete seems like a whiner, but he may have reason to here. Rossi is way inside the rubber left from countless passes and can't make the turn without a little help from Sete's bike, it seems to me.

Not a very secure line from Sete going into the last corner, last lap. Rossi did what he had to and pulled it off. A little arsey but thats rossi.

Yeah this weekends race will be a little different I think.

That's the way i see it too Charlie, but then like Trojan said............to brake that late.

I liked what Mamola had to say...................

Basically, my strongest feeling was whether the pass was right or wrong, it was disappointing that Valentino behaved the way he did after the race. His constant smirking and goading of Gibernau was unsporting in my book and there's no place for that - especially coming from a rider of his class.

Rossi is without doubt the greatest modern rider I have seen. His last corner pass on Sete was pure balls out class and he deserved the win. I agree with Mamolas' sentiments to a certain extent however how would any of us react if we were standing in front of 127 thousand Spaniards baying for blood? As for Sete, a great racer too but watching him stomping around clutching his elbow reminded me a little of a spoilt schoolkid. Role on Sunday.
1. Vale
2. Edwards(must come good soon!)
3. Gib

There are quite a few "old schoolers" who would remind us that if Rossi did that to Eddie Lawson, among others, there would have been a fight back in the paddock.

It was exciting, and I am a Rossi fan, but if you win races legitimately with NASCAR/Flattrack moves, are you the best rider that day? Does anyone really question that ANY of these MotoGP men have major league balls? Really? (Not me!)

Here is a nice comment on Nicky, he may be closer than I think to taking on Rossi.

http://www.superbikeplanet.com/2005/Apr/050415b.htm

I really like Rossi but he needs to challanged and beaten to show if he is really great.

Rossi's move was a bit over the top but still racing. It is very unfortunate that he poke Sete right in th espot that has had two operations. I don't think he was faking at all by holding the arm. BUT he needs to respond with anger. He needs to stuff Rossi the next time he gets the chance, not anything dangerous just slam the door.

I once saw Chris Carr, if memory serves, come off of turn 4 at Springfield, last lap and in first place with someone else in his draft. Not a good spot to be in.

He came out drifting to the wall but than tightened up and left the outside wide open. The guy in his draft jumped all over that and went high for the pass and the win....count to 3 and Carr is drifting back out to the wall quickly, never looked just figured if he opened that door the guy would go for it. Gave him just enough time to be fully committed and than slammed it shut. The guy had no choice, slow down or hit the wall at 110. Carr won.

Rossi jammed up the inside how many times that last lap? Sete should have figured he was doing it again. Sete backs off just a hair and Rossi flies by on the inside leaving Sete to get the better drive off theturn and victory.

So... Rossi didn't win this one, Sete either, DNF.

Barros win it, big surprise!

1, Barros
2, Rossi
3, Biaggi
4, Melandri
5, Checa
6, Edward
7, Hayden

Nobody had the good prediction
