So are the early 08 and 09 damper assemblies the same? I could only find part numbers for the 09. The reason being is that if they are the same then I only need the spring and spacer from an 09 to insert into my early 08 fork.

Post up your 09 numbers, i can check my 08 books.
I only have manuals for 08-1125 and 09-XB.
