Well after doing my first track day, I can officially say that my Pirelli Angel sport touring tires are great. I had a blast and I will certainly do it again; one question I had for you guys. Since I had to change the coolant for water and water wetter, does the water in the radiator evaporate? Should I switch back to glycol coolant? I've heard that water and water wetter are just fine for the summer but I wanted to check with you guys before I cause some damage.

If you use distilled water..and you certainly should...
there's no problem with minerals that can plate out of the water.(calcium carbonate mostly)
But..there's still a lot of oxygen entrained
in the water that can cause corrosion problems,
however the heat will soon boil off that oxygen.

The problems come when water is dumped/refilled which brings in more oxygen
each time. So leave the water in, then switch to glycol for winter. The water will not
evaporate as it is a closed system. Changing
from water to glycol and back each year should not cause problems,
provided distilled (mineral-free) water is used.

If you're still here in Colorado, make sure and get glycol back in before winter.
