Can anybody tell me which Buell model has original equipment foot pegs that drop the feet position by an inch and are black? I'm looking to make my CR more comfortable. Thanks! | ||

i got mine from knight design. they are a sponsor and are super nice. look better than the uly pegs if you ask me. oh and i recommend the grippy ones (can't remember the name right now of the model) but i got those and they are not too grippy by any means | ||

Lightning pegs do NOT fit on 1125 bikes without filing or grinding. 1125s and Ulysses models have a narrower peg mount. XB-R and XB-S models use a wider mount, and the pegs won't fit without "machining". I have black Uly pegs on my CR and love them. 6'4", 34" inseam. | ||

Lightning pegs do NOT fit on 1125 bikes without filing or grinding. They do... they're just not perfect. I've been running unmodified Lightning pegs for probably 10k miles & the angle is slightly off, but I can't tell when riding. | ||

The Lightning footpegs will fit with SOME filing. I do mean "some filing" because it doesn't take much of it. It took me less than ten minutes to file both pegs down to fit right. The aluminum used on these OEM footpegs are very soft and file down very easily and quickly. So easy even a Caveman can do it! LOL! | ||

I guess my problem is, I like to stand from time to time (titanium legs get sore on longer rides)...and with "soft" pegs the last thing I really want to do is remove material. YMMV... | ||

Personally, my feet prefer the wider Uly pegs. The black ones are machined, the silver are straight from the mold, that's why the price diff. Silver ones are a little slippery, black ones are NOT slippery at all.  | ||
