I got one apart by dropping it in boiling water and peeling the glass off after a minute or so. Then you can dismantle it. Unless you have a broken wire, the light's a sealed unit tho IIRC. I've been using my running lights as signals since Mar-Apr of 2008 and no problems yet. Firebolt mirrors are the best I have ever used. Crap, you said CR in the title but I saw R in the text... Should be the same assembly for the flasher on a CR mirror tho...
