My 08 says 1125R Firebolt on the inventory ticket and the loan documents.

I guess these Harley dealers were confused.

I only meant the picture he used was hilarious. Barker definitely asked a reasonable question.

A lot of "old timers" on here can get pretty snooty with "noob" questions. Everybody starts out as a "noob" and that really is what this forum is for, to help the larger Buell enthusiast community.

But damn, that "fail" picture is hilarious!

You have to admit, the double facepalm is a little rough. Mine is listed as a 1125r Firebolt as well, both on the insurance and the title. It's an evolution of the Firebolt so why not.

in europe, all the homologation-papers say "xb3" for the 1125s, "xb2" for the long frames xb12ss/stt/xt/uly and "XB1" for the xbs with the normal frame.

but why "firebolt"?
