I just had mine done it was BUE2D242 11-30-09 for an Aussie release CR I think the flash is different to the US one. | ||

yeah, I am interested in this as well. My dealer is doing my harness recall this week, and i want to make sure they got the flash right. I have a 09 cr, its a cali bike, I don't know if that makes a difference on the flash. | ||

i had 09 us flash on my r done in mid nov. that is the latest for that flash. | ||

Bigschwerm, you chart says the 2010 CR has M3PCA152 for both the 49 state and Cali models, yet the R model has two different tunes. Was it a typo? | ||

i have ecm spy and the cable. I can't find the spot on the bike to hook the cable up to. I know its near the left pod, but i can't find it. | ||

It's up under the rear of the left pod, next to the motor. | ||

I'm interested in buying a exhaust and a race ecm. Does the race Ecm work with the harness upgrade? What does the flash have to do with the harness upgrade. The ECM Black connector port 21 has 12v. After the system gets over 14 some odd volts the Diode let's the current through to the relay to disable the one stator leg . After looking at my wiring I think that's how it works. Can someone actually confirm that the flash is needed? | ||

Curve, the relay has 12v with ignition on supplied from the active solonoid connection,the relay is energised by the ecu earthing via pin 21. Earthed = energised/3 phase on, not earthed = not energised/2phase on. The latest flash has the instructions to let the ecu decide when to run 2 or 3 phases. | ||

So the race ecms are also programmed to know when to run 2 or 3 phase ? Thanks for explaining the updates purpose and function. I want a race ecm but hope the programming will be right.I found a couple used race ecms and wonder if they will need reprogrammed? I'm in the market for a pipe too if I find a good price.
