Has anyone taken the 2 Buell air box decals off their R,CR, using the hairdryer method.My concern is does the black plastic mark permanetly or show the decals were there or is it easily cleaned up

There are no marks, if you see something other than bits of glue, it is just the cover not having the same wear and tear as the rest of the cover. You can use Novus polish and make it match the rest of the cover.

I let mine sit in the sun a few minutes last Summer.
Peeled right off, all marks buffed out quickly.

I am glad I am not the only one who pulled the emblems.I thought they looked kind of cheesy.I used the hair dryer method and they peeled right off.Used some goop off to get the rest of the glue off.Now I would like to get some EBR decals with the new logo posted for my pods: )

"Turnagain" put the Buell emblems on his inner air box cover and you can see them through the clear "City X" air box cover.

I keep thinking they would look good on the frame itself, sort of as a Stompgrip alternative.
