While I remain amused from all the banter...did anyone who actually has these installed answer the underlying question that someone proposed: does it reduce the crud on the rear wheel?? If so, I am in for a set.

Yes I have them and yes the crud is reduced on your wheel, road debris and brake dust is going to be there, but the exhaust gases will not!

Use that and you will a set of long dildos hanging of your bike.Tight bends not 6 "radius bends. Those will not work.I bought that for r&d and they looked like horrible. There isnt to many shops that bend this tight of tube .Ive been looking.Only big Companys bend this tight.Im just making em at a reasonable price for my time.I tried sourcing and found most places want a 500 order to get it cheaper.I doubt if I"ll sell that.

I was here first moosestang. I had the tubes long before this.No Idea thief here.Just honesty.Sorry to burst your bubble but it looks like your material in your post was all wrong too.Im not arguing about this.I talked with a couple local guy that are well known on here but arent allowed on here about this awhile ago.We contacted jardine, hmf all those places but they didnt want anything to do with it because of lack of sales and they want to sell performance parts.Bigger profit than tips. Not Much profit!!

HEck all you were trying to do, well never mind. Keep up the great work, and RIDE.

If I still had my stock exhaust installed, I would have bought a set.

I like these tips but they are a bit pricey. I am an engineer and use cad software a ton. My friend does custom plasma cutting and I was going to have him make some tips like these with the "pegasus" logo cut into them. I would make it out of flat stainless and roll it into a tube. I could have him make a bunch if there is enough interest (if they turn out of course). Would anybody interested?

Tight bends? I'm not bending anything at the pipe side. My cuts at the 90 degree bend would be the exits. How many bends do you need for a freaking exhaust tip?

The only bend I see necessary is at the exit to keep the exhaust from going straight back. I have mocked it up using pvc pipe and I don't see what bend you need other than at the outlet.

I was not referring to you stealing my idea, I was referring to the other poster using my 1.75 inch downpipe idea.

I'll try and draw something up. If the roll is too tight for the individual tips, maybe a larger oval to go over both factory tips might work. Could use a bigger logo that way too.
Can anybody tell me the OD of the factory tips. I am not near my bike at the moment. It's in for the clutch weep : (

My rough measurement is 1 5/8th of an inch or 40mm, but that is just using a tape measure. I'd be interested as well.

Heh, at least I posted everything I did, including tube sizes and rough angles for doing the mod I did. I could post up a link for a supplier for stainless tubing for those interested, although google is a very good search engine. I found what I wanted in 10-15 minutes.

Greg, I think it's 1.625" or 1 5/8" if you prefer it that way. Maybe just a smidge on the heavy side of it. I'm at work now, but that number is ringing a bell in my head.

Well, apparently there's one "clown" around here that can't successfully cut the pipe and weld it.

More power to you if you sell any tips. I don't believe I've ever said anything that would cause animosity prior to a personal attack to you. I even sent you a pm asking you what your deal is. That was answered with a veiled threat about me advertising, which you are doing in a considerably more blatant fashion right here. I didn't start off with "HEY, LOOK AT WHAT I'VE GOT FOR SALE HERE" and then start hammering away at potential customers.

I only answered direct questions about the process and if I'd consider selling my services. I'm not dependent on selling what I make here. Personally, I could care less one way or the other. I make enough $$ to live on and support a family of five without worrying about where the next paycheck comes from. I do it for the fun and joy of it, as well as being a good challenge on something "difficult or impossible" to do, not to come here and listen to you spout off about how you totally destroyed 3 stock pipes and failed on all your attempts to make a better sounding exhaust than stock and that there was absolutely NO way I'd do any better. I did it in 2 tries and the original pipe is in excellent condition and the owner is extremely happy with the results.

More than one person has asked you to contribute positively and lay off the nifty remarks. You continue to dig a hole for yourself, before long you won't see the light of day due to the depth of the hole.

I'm also kinda starting to wonder if you are on some form of medication. I went back and re-read some of the previous posts, it's almost like you're two different people sometimes. If you are, please take it with more regularity, it makes you more personable. If you don't and the mood swings are from something else, or I'm totally off base and am seeing things that aren't here, then disregard this.
