Author Message   Shady4evr Posted on Monday, March 24, 2008 - 01:17 pm:        I have a set of buell lightning heads off of my buell that i took off. I since have sold the motor and have the heads and pistons sitting in a box in the garage. im looking to get rid of them and figured you guys would like them for your builds. they need reassembled. the motor had about 32000 miles on it before it was sold. the heads never had a problem. i found that the exhaust stud will need to be drilled and tapped and a new one reinserted. the heads will need to be reassembled. i took them apart and cant find the retainers for the springs. sorry so if your looking for a set of heads and 2 sets of pistons. one is the stock set (has carbon build up on them ) and a second set of flat top pistons from a friend of mine used for about 1500 miles let me know. email me at davidtstanley@gmail.com if you want the heads and pistons. i can send pics if needed. all offers will be acknowledged and i will take the offer that is closest to what im looking to get out of this pile of stuff. thanks. dave   Devdawg Posted on Monday, March 24, 2008 - 03:50 pm:        pm sent   Shady4evr Posted on Monday, March 24, 2008 - 04:07 pm:        how in the world do i check my pm's?   Shady4evr Posted on Monday, March 24, 2008 - 04:16 pm:        carl, let me know if you got those pics. thanks. dave   Puddlepirate Posted on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 - 06:26 am:        Those flat-top pistons shouldn't be used with Thunderstorm heads. Your compression ratio will be very low.
