It was my first drag race. It was fun walking in the pits, never seen anything like it where you can get up and close with everyone. I talked to one of the mechanics for a Buell team, but the only reason I knew it was a buell team was the Blast sitting next to the race bike and the Buell name tag on a 4-wheeler, there was no Buell anything, anywhere else. Granted no part is interchangable, but if you go to the S&S web site and look at the billet engine you can see the ancestry to the Sportster is there, vague but closer than the Vance and Hines engine is to the V-Rod   Nb_mitch Posted on Monday, March 19, 2007 - 08:48 pm:        No, they don't look like street bikes, I have seen the drag bikes at dealers before, but I thought what made it a Buell or HD or Suzuki was the motor. Like 46champ said the fairing may have been the only part which resembled a Buell. They could have at least had a Buell decal They were fun to watch though.
