06 Low seat is the lowest one. It's also narrower than the '07 and up afaik. It's what I'm using on my '07. |

How does the '06 low seat compare to the standard '08 seat? I was told that they were pretty much the same. I bought a stock 2006 tall seat from a badwebber so I have a stocker 2008 left over. |

Original '06 seat is the tallest, optional '06 seat is lowest. '07-10 seat is standard low, but wider than '06 low, so legs are spread more. I think someone had a comparison of them on here somewhere. Pretty sure that's what I remember anyhow. |

Ok, quick search turned this up. I have to disagree about the 06 to 07. I have both and the 06 lets me plant my feet easier. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/142 838/572539.html?1161372743 |

Do you have the stock XT seat, because that's pretty low. I actually bought the taller seat for my XT as it was a better fit. |

I have fairly short legs as well. I'm 6' tall, but only have a 30" inseam (which is why I'm on an XT and not an X). That said, the 07 tall seat is much more comfortable IMO than the stock 08 XT seat, which is lower, at least for me. |

If you can make it to EBR on Thursday 5/31 in the morning for Homecoming, I'll put on my '06 low gel seat and we can swap and go out for a ride. Then you'll have a better idea if you should try to find one. (I'm not going to part with mine, though!) |

Very good. So you can find me, my Uly has a Valencia Orange translucent airbox cover, and my low seat has the Barricade Orange rear section. See you there! -John |

Or you could use a lowering collar and keep your seat. Just a thought. |

Maybe a little taller sole boot? Perfect for Uly riders!

There are some articles on here that discuss them too. If you're interested, I know a guy! |
