Hi all,

Looking to learn to maintain my Uly myself. My mechanical skills are still pretty basic (I can change the oil and brakes on my cars, and I did manage to install the confort kit fan on my own). SO I will definitely need to get a Servicing book for the Uly. Haynes makes a manual For cars and most bikes, but they do not seem to have any for Buells.

Can you recommend a good repair / maintenace / servicing manual for me to use?

Thx,
MMcC

Highly recommend the factory manual. Nothing's too hard to do on the Uly, as long as you've got the directions. Since I've gotten the manual, I've changed my front brake pads twice, my rears once, changed the oil twice, the transmission fluid once, adjusted the primary chain, removed the rear wheel three times to replace the tire, replaced the belt, the plugs...and some other stuff i'm probably forgetting. That would be a lot of labor to pay someone else for, far in excess of the cost of the book.

Frogster . . you'd be happy to know there are 3 PC's (4 screens) surrounding the iMac as well. A Dell, a T40 and a T61 ThinkPad in docs . . . different horses for different courses. . . but all I generally touch is the Mac . . . too darn supple to synch all e-mails, cloud drives and calendars.

Any enchilada left?

Mattmcc00; the Factory Buell Service Manuals are some of the best Service Manuals I've ever seen. Haynes, Chilton or Clymer manuals don't even come close as far as clarity or detail. Spend the money on the Factory Manuals; you won't regret it.
