Are these sold in the US at all? If so does anyone know where to get one. I met Jmartz today (good to meet you by the way) and he's got a red one. Very nice! (Message edited by Glitch on August 14, 2004) |

I've been lusting over Roof's for a long time Glitch. www.tricktape.com used to sell them here in the US, but decided due to the poor value of the dollar to cease doing that. Ordering them from overseas appears to be the best way to get a new one. A Google search will yield a bunch of places across the pond, but again you're talking over 500 clams for one including shipping and a dark visor. They do show up on eBay with pretty good frequency as well, both in the US and from Europe. If you find a sneaky way to get one in for relatively cheap let me know would ya? |

Roof are not legal for street use in the USA due to the lack of DOT acceptance. With that said I have been wanting one ever since I saw one in Back Street Heros from the UK. |

I did the google, and the UK is the closest I could find. Shipping included was just over $500. That does look sharp Mike. I just kinda like the "pilot look" the Roofs have. Not as extreme as this one though.

BTW: They are ROUND! If you have an oval shaped head you're out of luck. |

They sell Roof down the road from me. I think they're around £200 give or take. Probably cost around £25 to ship. Do the math at your end and if the conversion suits, let me know if I can help. Incidentally, they're often sold cheaper at the big shows, but that's usually winter through spring time. Rocket |

Thanks Rocket! That'll save me close to $100! I'll let you know when I'm ready. I can wait until the shows to start as I really don't need another helmet just yet. Stonecoldbuellin |

They are very cool looking... I would probably repaint it though. I think it would look good if painted like an OD green flight helmet. I wear a textile camouflage riding jacket from Vanson and it would fit right in . |
