I'd love to take an actual welding class. Seems like every project I dream up lately involves it, and I wouldn't even know which end to hold.

I started working for a welding mfg and knew nada. Now, I can thermal spray and braze with the best of them. Welding to me was sorta intimidating, its actually very very cool.

I'm always looking for excuses to melt metal. I got an oxy act setup at an estate sale, and it's incredibly flexible. It's slower then MIG, but more flexible.

I'd be happy to have a TIG unit though, if anyone's giving them away : )
