Just got done riding on a pond. I'm tired! Lots of fun though! These are me. These are my boss Doug. If any of you have seen Doug ride you know that he's goin real fast! Here's a couple shots of the bike we are riding. See if you can notice what upgrades the shop has made. I know Mike took a bunch of pictures with his 35mm so we will have to wait a bit for those to come back. Man am I tired! Craig

SWEEEET Craig, brings back memories of my XR600 when I lived in New Hampshire. Glad to see another rider that doesn't let a little snow and ice stop him from having fun.

It works really well although the center of gravity is much higher than purpose built ice racers. We race some 6,12 and 24 hour ice endurace races here and after a while the ruts in the track get very deep. Thats where the tall bikes shine. Sometimes in a long races we will cut a rut right through the ice in a sharp corner, then we have to move the track over a few feet in that corner. Check out our 24 hour "numb bum" race here. http://www.soundrider.com/archive/travelouges/NumbBumPt1.htm |

Hey Craig, Where were you riding at? I was down at the Pits today playing in the mud. My ice screws helped quite a bit but I was kind of itching to go out on some ice. Originally I was going to ride up the river to Charles City but there was too much open water. I didn't want to have to read about myself in the paper on Monday. |

That exhaust looks like a Bub exhaust for a Blast as well! Must really help the torque! GT - JBOTDS! EZ |

Way cool bike! We're not really at the racing stages yet. That was only my second time on the ice, still trying to get the feel of it. |

Iowa boys... Any of you know where I may be able to get a dirt bike CHEAP to play with this winter??? I've looked around the Dubuque area, and didn't see a whole lot. It can need a bit of work, that's not a biggie. Just looking for something to play with. Thanks, Alex |

Prior, will sell you a good minibike. You have two to choose from the purple one or the one with the tiger stripped banana seat. I plan on getting the old Honda squared away over spring break, the battery is only 25 bucks. Get a cheapy, and lets head up to Tower City, get the old three-quarter helmets, and have some vintage riding. The Montesa would be pretty wild with some studded tires, but I dont think Lake Marburg freezes over well enough... Later on, Cessna

More pictures via Mike! Doug running a little wide. (thats an ass puckering moment!) Doug on the far side of the ice. Me putting it in a bit too deep in the corner. A great spray shot! It was getting a bit too warm out. This is Todd. Still gettin the feel for it. (it was his first time on the bike this year) Me after getting hit in the head with an exploding snow-ball. Can't wait to get back out there. Fun times. Craig
