Like everyone else, I've often lamented the lack of available Buell T shirts. I travel often and generally only stop at HD shops if they carry Buell. Unfortunately as you all know, that usually doesn't mean they have any gear or T shirts.

This year finally looks different with several new styles of T's available...now if dealers just stock them.

Well, anyway, the point of this ramble is that I was cleaning out my T shirt closet yesterday. My collection of 250 long and short sleeve T's consists of ones from Harley shops, bike events, freebies from beer companies, and lots of others. Well I organized them all and even disguarded 60 of them. The surprise came when I segregated the Buell T's. I actually have 40 of them. I guess I can slow down now!

Does anyone else have 'it' this bad?

Bret

I have 4, but I'm a fairly portly fella and sometimes it's hard find shirts. I'll 2 new ones in 10 days though!

I don't have that large of a collection, personally, but I'm afraid that my husband is another story. I don't think a T-Shirt has come through the store that my husband hasn't bought. He must have at least 30, between regular Buell Ts, special event shirts, dealer show shirts, "staff" shirts, other miscellaneous shirts that I can't even say where they came from (but you know who you are).

So I just borrow his when I need one. : D

yeah, I'd say our closet has "it" pretty bad too. Glad to see we're not the only ones.

i have a few, not sure how many at the moment but i would guess maybe 8 or 9. then the gf has a few also.

i have been looking for one of the grey streetfighter ones in a medium preferably or even a large if need be for awhile. still havent gotten my hands on one.

the thing that pisses me off is that 2 of the guys i work with have them from when they came out. neither of them are buell riders but you think i can talk them out of them, not a chance! (plus i doubt they would fit)

I've got several hundred including some cool, still in the plastic "1,000th Buell Made" and some of the old give away "Come to your senses" shirts.

Buell used to have some really cool shirts. Unfortunately they got turned over to the kids in motorclothes and since that day I've yet to see one I'd be interested in paying for.

The new hats this year are a step in the right direction and make me think there has been a shake up.

We were cleaning today and lo and behold wandered on a case of the good old Buell keychains. . .

I also found a catalog of the clothing and gear for 1995 and 1996 . . . I am living in the past!

: )

If you can find someone who sews you can turn all your old t-shirts into quilts. My grandmother made me four before she passed away now I'm looking for someone to make me another. I've got a cool parrothead quilt she did, everything else is just mix and match from high school and college. At one point in college I could go seven months and never wear the same shirt. At the moment I've got two garbage bags full just waiting to be quilted. Found a place on line starting at $400.
These will be nice keepsakes to pass on to my daughters.

I have too many t-shirts. I'm wearing a green one today, of course.

Kuuud,

I agree that it is unfortunately the case that the HD/Buell shops rarely carry much of the Buell line of gear. I travel often and visit the local HD/Buell dealers to buy T-shirts, etc and in my experience Buell is relegated to a small corner in the back of the HD shop. Fortunately I live just 5 min. from the only stand alone Buell dealership, The Seminole Buell Shop, and they have a great selection of bikes, gear and accessories. What is even more refreshing is they are Buell enthusiasts, not some HD guy that sees an opportunity to make a little commission. It is my opinion that Buell will always be only 3% of HDs business as long as they remain attached to the hip with HD dealers. Those guys are HD enthusiasts and really don't understand us Buell heads. Triumph motorcycles have successfully created a bunch of manic owners worldwide by marketing through independent dealers who love and understand the brand. anyway just my 2 cents.

My roomate and his dad are manic Triumph riders. Between the two of them is a 98 Trident, an 02 Sprint ST and an 05 Bonne. They are VERY passionate about the brand. Much like us Buellers. They ride to ride, not to fit a 'Wild Hogs'/stunter/boyracer stereotype
